Benefits

There is more than just a paycheck

We recognize that benefit needs may differ from one employee to another so we offer you a flexible approach to designing your benefit package.

We offer a variety of competitive options in several benefits areas and make these benefits available to you on your first day of employment.

Medical and Dental Plan

RSDCGROUP provides a group insurance program to all regular full-time employees and their dependants. Employees pay a portion of the premium through bi-weekly payroll deductions. RSDCGROUP pays 80% of the costs for employee coverage and their dependants. Details of these benefits are contained in the Summary Plan Description provided by the insurance carrier United Health Care.

All full-time regular employees are eligible for coverage on the first day of the following month after joining RSDCGROUP, if a written application is made on or before such a date.

Prescription Drug Benefits

Employees who participate in the United Health Care Plan automatically receive prescription drug benefits through the United Health Care Company. This program covers prescription drugs dispensed by a participating retail pharmacy or the designated mail service pharmacy.

Life Insurance

RSDCGROUP provides group term life insurance in the amount of $50,000 for our regular, full-time employees, with provisions for accidental death and dismemberment coverage. This plan is available at no cost to you. Employees become eligible for this benefit on the first day of the following month after joining RSDCGROUP.

Long-Term Disability Insurance

Through our Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance Program, RSDCGROUP offers its employees a way to ensure income while recovering from a long-term disabling accident, injury or illness after a 90-day elimination period. The payout is 60 percent of the employee's monthly salary, up to a maximum of $5,000 per month. RSDCGROUP pays all costs associated with this program.

Holiday Leave

RSDCGROUP adheres to the following holiday schedule (10 annually) including one floating holiday. These are:

  • Floating Holiday (1 day)
  • Independence Day
  • Thanksgiving Day (2 days)
  • Memorial Day
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (2 days)
  • Labor Day
  • New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (2 days)

* Regular part-time employees are eligible for prorated holiday leave.

Education Reimbursement

RSDCGROUP's Education Reimbursement Program is designed to encourage employees to improve and expand their current work-related skills. If an employee is a regular, full-time employee and has worked for RSDCGROUP at least 6 months, the employee may be eligible to participate in RSDCGROUP's tuition Reimbursement program. RSDCGROUP will provide financial assistance only when the course of instruction concerned is determined to be appropriate to the individual employee's background, current and foreseeable work assignments, career growth options within the organization, and if it broadens or enhances an employee's job-related knowledge and skill level.

401(K) Plan

RSDCGROUP's 401 (k) Savings Plan, administered by Intuit Investments, allows employees to set aside tax-deferred dollars through payroll deduction. Regular full-time and regular part-time employees who are 21 years of age or older, may elect to participate after six months of employment at RSDCGROUP. The 401 (k) savings plan allows you to make employee deferral contributions between 1 percent and 15 percent of your pre-tax earnings. RSDCGROUP will make contributions in and amount equal to 4 percent of the employee’s salary in each payroll period.

Vacation Leave

Vacation leave is accrued at the rate of 104 hours annually for those employees with fewer than 5 years of service. After 5 years of service, vacation is accrued at 144 hours annually. Cash compensation in lieu of the accrued annual leave is automatically disbursed at the end of the calendar year. Regular part-time employees are eligible for prorated vacation leave accruals. Accrual of vacation leave is not allowed from one calendar year to next.

Court Leave

Paid court leave is authorized for jury duty or when an employee is summoned to appear in court as a witness on behalf of the United States, any state, or the District of Columbia in a federal, state, county, municipal, or District of Columbia court. Full- and part-time employees actively at work or on paid leave are eligible for court leave.

Military Duty Leave

An employee who is a member of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coat Guard, National Guard, Reserves or Public Health Service will be granted an unpaid leave of absence for military service, training or related obligations in accordance with applicable law. Employees on military leave may substitute their accrued paid leave time for unpaid leave.
