RSDCGROUP partners with the Department of Homeland Security for transition management

RSDCGROUP has partnered with Master Key Consulting Group to provide transition management for the Department of Homeland Security. RSDCGROUP has been charged with providing management and oversight with the Information Technology transition from the Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP) and the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP). These two offices currently reside under the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office for Justice Programs (OJP). These organizations have been identified as needed resources to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Their Information Technology resources need to move from DOJ to DHS.

RSDCGROUP faces many challenges ahead with the transition and change management of ODP and CDP. Due to the nature and prevue of these two agencies, the project has been accelerated to achieve fiscal and fiduciary goals. RSDCGROUP will provide the appropriate skill set and knowledge to meet these challenges on target. Many of the known obstacles play into logistics and organizational structure. As the two agencies depart from DOJ, they will face a new set of operations, culture and direction. These ideas and perspective must be addressed to ensure not only the continuity of operations, but also the ties to human capitol and security control processes.
