The Office for State and Local Government Coordination and Preparedness moves to the Department of Homeland Security

Over the month of September the Office for State and Local Government Coordination and Preparedness (SLGCP) (formerly known as the Office for Domestic Preparedness) and the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) successfully transitioned it information resources to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). RSDCGROUP provided project and change management for DHS and SLGCP. SLGCP was designated a needed resource for DHS and needed to be separated from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and merged to DHS.

“This is a project that is a great example of multiple agencies working together. The work and planning performed made this effort very successful,” said Ryan Denmark, Principle and Senior Consultant for RSDCGROUP. “We are now looking ahead to helping SLGCP align its strategic technology initiatives to its mission directives.”
